This film depicts the colorful life style of Koch people living in Jhinaigati Upazila of Sherpur district. The Koches are one of the oldest small ethnic groups living in Bangladesh. Their ancestors came to Bangladesh from their motherland Kuch Bihar in India. The Koch has their own Tibeto-Burman language which does not have any alphabets. They depend mainly on agricultural work for their livelihood. The patriarchal Koch society is divided into eight groups. Most of these Koch believe in Sonaton Hindu religion. They possess a rich historical, social and cultural heritage. Their distinctive culture is reflected in their festivals, dress, food habits, dance, music and life style.
